Ingredients:
- 1/2 a15 ounce can crushed tomatoes
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic
- 1 tablespoon tomato paste
- 1 cup water
- 1 teaspoon garam masala (Indian spice powder)
- 3/4 pound boneless chicken thighs
- 2 tablespoons cilantro, chopped
- 1/2 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper powder
- 1/4 cup low fat cream
Method:
- Add crushed tomatoes, onion, garlic, tomato paste, gram masala, salt, and pepper to the instant pot.
- Add chicken and stir.
- Close lid. Select Poultry option for 8 minutes. When done, let the steam release naturally.
- When the chicken done add the cream, stir well. Garnish with cilantro and serve with hot rice.
