Ingredients:
- 1 3/4 pound chicken, chopped
- 2 potatoes, peeled, cubed
- 1 cup mushrooms, quartered
- 6 pearl onion, peeled
- 2 slices bacon, chopped into 1 inch pieces
- 1 teaspoon all purpose flour
- 1/4 cup chicken broth
- 2 tablespoons white wine
- 1/2 tablespoon brandy
- Salt to taste
- Pepper powder to taste
Method:
- Select the Sauté option. Add the bacon pieces to the pot and sauté until bacon is brown. Remove with a slotted spoon and place it aside.
- Add chicken to pot and cook until brown. Remove and place it aside.
- Add potatoes and cook until brown on all the sides. Remove and place it aside.
- Add mushrooms and onions to the pot. Sauté for a couple of minutes. Add the flour, mix well and add brandy. Mix again. Add chicken, potatoes, bacon wine, broth, salt and pepper. Mix well.
- Close the lid. Select Stew option and set the timer for 8 minutes. When done, let the steam release naturally.
