Ingredients:
- 15 ounces kale, rinsed
- 8 slices bacon, chopped
- 4 cloves garlic, smashed
- 2 onions, halved, sliced
- 2 tablespoons oil
- 2 1/2 cups chicken stock
- 1 1/2 tablespoons brown sugar
- 1 1/2 teaspoons liquid smoke
- Salt, pepper and crushed red chili to serve.
Method:
- Select Sauté option. Add oil. Add bacon and cook until crisp.
- Add onions and garlic to the pot and sauté until translucent.
- Add rest of the ingredients. Mix well.
- Close lid. Set Manual option and timer for 5 minutes. When done, let the steam release naturally.
- If you find too much liquid once cooking is done, then select Sauté option and simmer until the amount of liquid you desire is achieved.
