Ingredients:
- 1 1/2 pounds dried beans, soaked in water overnight, drained
- 1/2 pound sausages (optional)
- 1/2 pound bacon, chopped
- 1 1/2 cups onions, finely chopped
- 2 leeks, sliced
- 8 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 carrots, chopped into chunks
- 3 teaspoons paprika
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 9 cups water
- 1 medium head cabbage, chopped
- 1/3 cup olive oil
Method:
- Select Sauté option. Add oil.
- Add onions and garlic to the pot and sauté until translucent. Add cabbage and sauté until the crispness you desire is achieved. Remove from the pot and set aside.
- Add rest of the ingredients to the pot. Mix well.
- Close the lid. Select Manual option and set the timer for 20 minutes. When done, let the steam release naturally.
- Serve in bowls topped with cabbage.
