Ingredients:
- 9 slices old bread, chopped
- 4 cups milk
- 5 eggs
- 2 tablespoons sugar or to taste
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 8 ounces dark chocolate (70%), chopped into 3/4 inch cubes
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1 tablespoon raw sugar to top
Method:
- Place bread in a greased, heatproof bowl that can fit inside the instant pot.
- Whisk together rest of the ingredients except butter and pour over the bread and set aside for 15 minutes.
- Add chocolate cubes and mix lightly.
- Place cubes of butter all over the dish. Set aside for about 10 minutes
- Place a trivet inside the inner pot. Pour 2 cups of water.
- Lower the dish into the cooker and place over the trivet.
- Close the lid and select Manual option and set the timer for 25 minutes. Let steam release naturally.
- Chill and serve topped with raw sugar.
