Ingredients:
- 9 egg yolks, whisked
- 450 ml cream
- 2 cups full fat milk
- 1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 3/4 cup castor sugar
- 3 cups dark cooking chocolate, finely chopped
- Fresh strawberries to serve
Method:
- Pour 2 cups of water into the instant pot. Place a trivet in it.
- Pour milk, cream, sugar and vanilla in a saucepan. Place the saucepan over medium heat. Simmer until sugar is dissolved.
- Remove from heat and add chocolate pieces. Stir until the chocolate melts and the mixture is well combined.
- Gently pour in the yolks into the mixture whisking simultaneously. Pour the mixture into a heatproof dish and place the dish over a trivet.
- Close the lid. Select Manual option and set the timer for 30 minutes. When done, let the steam release naturally.
- Remove the dish and set it aside for a while to set.
- Serve warm with strawberries.
