Ingredients:
- 1 1/2 boxes yellow cake mix
- 2 tablespoons brown sugar
- 1 1/2 cans pineapple slices
- 2 tablespoons butter
Method:
- Make batter of the cake according to the instructions on the package.
- Grease a cake pan with all the butter.
- Place a single layer of pineapple slices in the pan. Pour batter up to 2/3 the dish. (You can make the cake in batches if your pan is small)
- Cover the dish with foil.
- Place a trivet inside the instant pot. Pour 2 cups of water to the pot. Place the dish on the trivet.
- Close the lid. Select Manual option and set the timer for 17-20 minutes. When done, let the steam release naturally.
- Uncover and cool. Invert on to a plate. Slice and serve.
