Ingredients:
- 2 1/4 cups all purpose flour
- 1 1/4 teaspoons baking powder
- 5 tablespoons butter, melted
- 3 eggs
- A pinch of salt
- 6 tablespoons cocoa
- 1 1/4 cups sugar
- 1 1/4- 1 1/2 cups milk
- 3 tablespoons strawberry sauce or preserve
Method:
- Sift together dry ingredients.
- Whisk together eggs and sugar until sugar dissolves.
- Add butter and strawberry sauce and stir.
- Add flour mixture a little at a time and fold each time.
- Pour milk and stir until you get a smooth batter of dropping consistency.
- Transfer into a greased baking pan that fits inside the instant pot.
- Pour 1 1/2 cups water inside the instant pot. Place a trivet inside the pot. Place the pan over the trivet.
- Close the lid. Select Manual option and set the timer for 17 minutes.
- Remove the cake when the steam releases naturally. Cool. Invert on to a plate, slice and serve.
