Ingredients:
- 6 apples, cored, sliced
- 2 cups dry bread crumbs
- 1/2 cup butter, melted
- Zest of 2 lemons
- Juice of 2 lemons
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 2 cups water
Method:
- Grease a baking dish with butter.
- Mix together in a bowl, breadcrumbs, sugar, cinnamon, lemon juice and zest.
- Place a single layer of apples in the dish. Sprinkle some of the mixture over it. Repeat this step until all the apples and the mixture is used up.
- Drizzle butter all over. Cover with foil.
- Pour water in the instant pot and place a trivet in it. Place the dish over it.
- Close the lid. Select Manual option and set the timer for 15 minutes. When done, let the steam release naturally.
- Broil in an oven until the top is brown and crisp. Serve warm.
