David Hendricks Martini

Gordon’s is fine in a gin and tonic, but for a martini the gin has to be Hendrick’s. A friend introduced me to this Hendrick’s martini…with sake in place of the dry vermouth.

3 ounces Hendrick’s gin

2½ teaspoons sake

Ice cubes

Thin cucumber slice for garnish

Shake the liquid ingredients with really fresh ice and strain into a chilled martini glass. Okay, okay…you can stir it if you must. Garnish with a thin cucumber slice.
