Dash of boiling water

1 teaspoon clear honey

3 basil leaves

1½ ounces vodka

1 ounce apple juice

Ice cubes

Apple slice for garnish

Stir the water, honey, and basil leaves together in a shaker until well blended. Add the vodka, apple juice, and a few ice cubes. Shake vigorously and strain into a chilled martini glass. Garnish with an apple slice.
