Power
He gives power to the weak and strength to the powerless. Even youths will become weak and tired, and young men will fall in exhaustion. But those who trust in the LORD will find new strength. They will soar high on wings like eagles. They will run and not grow weary. They will walk and not faint.
The more you recognize your own weaknesses and limitations, the more you will understand God’s power at work within you. Strength can make you proud and self-sufficient, keeping you from praising God or turning to him for help. That is why God often works through your weaknesses and weariness, so long as you let him. Then there is no doubt that it is by his power—not your own—that you’ve been able to accomplish all that you have.
