Weakness

Each time [God] said, “My grace is all you need. My power works best in weakness.” So now I am glad to boast about my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ can work through me.

2 CORINTHIANS 12:9

One thing is certain: Everyone has weaknesses, so we must learn to live with failure. Strong character depends not on how often we fail but on how we respond to failure. Adam and Eve, for example, responded to failure by placing the blame on someone else rather than admitting their mistakes and seeking forgiveness. The apostle Paul, however, learned to appreciate his weaknesses and failures because God was working through them. Those who admit their failures and learn from them will go on to accomplish great things.
