Goals

Sympathize with each other. Love each other as brothers and sisters. Be tenderhearted, and keep a humble attitude. Don’t repay evil for evil. Don’t retaliate with insults when people insult you. Instead, pay them back with a blessing. That is what God has called you to do, and he will grant you his blessing.

1 PETER 3:8-9

While it’s good to set larger goals for your family, career, and personal achievements, it’s also important to set smaller daily goals for your spiritual life. You can determine today to be kind toward others, to be humble, to respond gracefully if someone takes advantage of you, to read your Bible, and to share an encouraging word. These small goals will bring great rewards when practiced over a lifetime. God promises to bless your obedience to him through these faithful actions. They become the essential building blocks of all that God wants you to accomplish.
