Neediness
[Jesus said,] “God blesses those who are poor and realize their need for him, for the Kingdom of Heaven is theirs.”
If you believe Jesus died to take the punishment for your sins and recognize that only he can forgive you, the Bible promises that you will have eternal life. You cannot earn your way into heaven; it is God’s gift to those who admit their need for Jesus.
