Home Organization Planning
B efore you start any home organization process, first, analyze your current situation and then create a decluttering plan using the following steps.
  1. Take an inventory of your home space. Put a checkmark next to each room clutter.
  1. Specify each room's intent. For instance, if your bedroom is for dressing and sleeping exclusively, then all the documents, photos and toys belong somewhere else. When the clothes are washed, they must be duplicated as a dungeon, the equipment, and dog food must be used elsewhere.
  2. Create a list that shows the order in which each room is arranged. This allows you to concentrate on one room at a time. Tip: If you do not know where to get started, first go for the most stressful room or location where you spend most of your time.
  3. Schedule one room at a time. The one you make for yourself is your most important task. If you want to start and stick to each room and finish it, you must schedule some time for each room.
In general, it takes about 16 to 24 hours to arrange a single room thoroughly. The larger the room, the more objects it contains, the longer it takes.
Schedule time blocks that suit your lifestyle. For example, you might spend a weekend tackling a whole room, or schedule a few evenings a week for an hour or two. Do what is meaningful for you but keep your loyalty to yourself as you would to anyone else. You deserve to live in an organized environment.
  1. Be sure of the why you want to organize yourself now.
What does an operational shortage cost you? Stress, missed deadlines, overlooked appointments, family disagreements?
Now relate to one of your core values, such as beauty, enjoyment, or the feeling of energy flow in your room. It will be easier to respect and accomplish your goal with an essential meaning.
  1. Get the necessary resources. List all the things you need to do to accomplish this objective.
For example:
Knowledge on how to plan your tasks.
Help from family members to support you or not to interfere in this project.
Corral waste bags and gather things to be recycled.
  1. Build a support network.
Who are you willing to share your progress with? Maybe he is a friend, spouse, or extended member of the family. Please ask them to keep you focused and remember your encouragement in the organizing process.
  1. Define your reward
Yeah, you are getting a reward! Whenever you go for a major target, it's important to consider the time and effort that you have spent, reserve for yourself an afternoon with friends, for a spa, or for whatever thing you think is essential and enjoyable.
  1. Identify the next project.
Go back to your list, check the next objective and the schedule in your calendar.
  1. Keep going! Organizing is simple but not straightforward. That said, it is worth it, and you can do it.
