Fantastic Beasts - Part 1
Here are descriptions of ten fantastic beasts - your job is simply to decide which ones...
- Extremely aggressive and protective over its eggs of the softest and purest silver.
- This little creature’s essence is often used as a home remedy for cuts and abrasions; you can also pickle the growth from its back and use it to improve one’s resistance to jinxes. A warning though: eating too much can result in rather unsightly purple ear hair!
- Despite its large size, this creature moves silently and is considered one of the most dangerous creatures alive. If that’s not enough its breath is also toxic and filled with disease... meaning it can wipe out entire villages.
- The blood from this creature can be used to keep someone near death alive, but be warned: they will live a cursed life from the moment the blood touches their lips.
- If the eggs of this serpent are left to hatch, they will ignite and can burn down a building within minutes.
- The only way to catch one of these creatures is to do something totally unpredictable.
- The tree guardian; generally peaceful but this little guy can turn violent if its tree is threatened. Offer wood lice or fairy eggs as a distraction.
- With its smooth pale grey skin, this bulging-eyed critter only comes out during a full moon, at which stage it will perform dance moves on its hind legs!
- The Ministry of Magic keep a pack of a dozen albino bloodhounds specifically to chase away these unwanted beasts.
- This colourful guy comes loaded with a silencing charm, otherwise its high pitched voice may just drive the listener insane.

- Closely related to a phoenix, this creature can create a storm as it flies due to the strength in its multiple wings.
- Considered a pest in the wizarding world, this creature’s double row of sharp venomous teeth will require any victim to seek out an antidote immediately.
