The Broadway premiere of August Wilson’s Jitney was produced by the Manhattan Theatre Club, Lynne Meadow, Artistic Director, Barry Grove, Executive Producer in association with Eric Falkenstein, Ron Simons, John Legend/Mike Jackson, and Ken Wirth at the Samuel J. Friedman Theatre. The first performance was on December 28, 2016.
