The tomb of Marc Antony and Cleopatra VIII, from 30 BC, her remains location are unknown somewhere near Alexandria, Egypt. Historians state that the Roman Leader Augustus allowed them to be buried together after defeating them. Many fear that their tomb will not be located and that many tombs may have been looted, including theirs.
Recent news reports of 27 tombs have been located during excavations by Kathleen Martinez, head of the archaeological mission. She believes these finds may include Cleopatra herself. Though the determination of her tomb has not been made to date, the excavations located near the temple to Osiris in Taposiris, Magna, continue. The world awaits.
