Ming-Yue Song
Ming-Yue heard her sister's attack from where she stood and continued weaving all the threads of her spell quickly. She worked efficiently, but not with the amount of power she thought she might have had. Touching the ley line this corrupted would flood her with vile darkness, allowing Bù Wěndìng de Jūmín to take over her. She continued to pull from the magic given to her from the land above, spinning her net larger and more prominent with the tightest weave she could make. She had to turn in the air and fire herself, which neither were her most vital elements. The land gave her strength to pull enough to weave the of both, forming a stronger net. The net passed down through her family to handle these creatures, to draw them into the portal she would need to summon. She knew each step and the power she needed. It just didn't seem enough to yank Bù Wěndìng de Jūmín off the ley line that it was feeding on, corrupting. It appeared well entrenched in this cave system.
She continued weaving, her hands moving quickly as she chanted the ancient spell. The power flowed through her, ignoring the amount it was taking from her to build the enormous spell she continued to pull. The ground shook violently, and she steadied herself to avoid being thrown off balance. She could feel the creature’s power growing stronger, its resistance was also increasing. She had to throw the net sooner than later. She kept weaving as her sister bounced around, flinging fire with precision against Bù Wěndìng de Jūmín . It didn't seem to be doing nearly enough damage yet.
Ming-Yue took a deep breath, feeling the weight of the spell in her hands. She felt the power radiating off it and knew she had to throw the net, even if it wasn't strong enough. She focused her energy, aiming for the center of Bù Wěndìng de Jūmín . Ming-Yu threw the net, and it flew through the air gracefully. The creature let out another roar once the net struck it, but it didn't stop it. She squeezed the net tighter around The Volatile Dweller. She felt it as it wrapped around the legs of the creature, weakening the chunks she had taken in the net. Her sister continued attacking, dodging, and weaving around Bù Wěndìng de Jūmín . Rayne was buying her time while she finished the spell.

She focused her energy, aiming for the center of Bù Wěndìng de Jūmín . Ming-Yu threw the net, and it flew through the air gracefully. The creature let out another loud roar once the net struck it, but it didn't stop it entirely. She squeezed the net around The Volatile Dweller. It wrapped around part of it. She felt it wrap around the legs of the creature, weakening the chunks she had taken in the net.
Her sister continued attacking, dodging, and weaving around Bù Wěndìng de Jūmín . Rayne was buying her time while she finished the spell.
Ming-Yue continued to chant, her voice growing louder and more vigorous while she pulled the net harder. She could feel the creature's resistance fighting back stronger but wouldn't give up. She poured her magic through the spell, expanding and contracting all at the same time. Grabbing the parts she had and spreading the net on the parts she didn't have yet. Sweat poured off her forehead, chilling as it dripped from the freezing temperatures of the chamber. Her breath was getting heavier with the amount of energy she was using. Ming-Yu knew she couldn't keep this up much longer as she was tapping into the power of the land above and her life forces. She could feel it getting more robust, the weave stretching over The Volatile Dweller.
Pain flared through her body, her hands faltering in their task. She gasped, opening her eyes to see Bù Wěndìng de Jūmín ’s tendrils wrapping tightly around her torso, squeezing the air out of her lungs. Spikes fought through the magical charms, breaking the magic as she tried to continue her spell, but the pain began to break her concentration. She felt the creature’s slimy flesh burning through the clothing's spells, the acid making quick work through all the workings that protected her.
She gritted her teeth, leaving the net spell on Bù Wěndìng de Jūmín . Under the corruption, she pulled deep below her, reaching for the pure earth that sang to her. Ming-Yue called to it and it came begrudgingly through the deeply tainted ground. She summoned the earth spikes to attack The Volatile Dweller's tendrils, claws, and mass closest to her. She needed it to release her. She needed to escape from the tendrils holding her hostage, the acid still ripping through her charms and flesh. The spikes burst from the ground, piercing the creatures' flesh and tendrils. The scream exploded through the cavern and their minds. Its horrific screech shook the walls, sending dust and debris everywhere. Ming-Yue took the opportunity to break free from Bù Wěndìng de Jūmín ’s grasp, stumbling away from it and grasping for air. She felt the pain radiating through her entire body, concentrating and slipping. Her body was flaring in pain and should feel her magic draining.
Rayne ran towards her, dodging the wild flailing tendrils and claws. Her sister danced around the creatures, her flames growing more substantial and precise with each step. Rayne burned off the remains of tendrils that hit Ming-Yue. She pulled on the earth spikes harder, burying them deeper into Bù Wěndìng de Jūmín .
The Volatile Dweller's ear-splitting screeching continued, failing its limbs while it writhed in pain. Ming-Yu could feel the creature's power draining, its grip on the ley line weakening. She focused back on the net spell, adding her power back. Earth's power flowed through her once again. She funneled her power directly into the spell, holding onto Bù Wěndìng de Jūmín . She pulled it tighter and tighter, beginning to drain what she could from The Volatile Dweller, and started to pull it away from the shaft, off the walls, and the cavern itself. She needed to get it off the ley line. She focused her energy on her task, her duty. Her spell pulled all around Bù Wěndìng de Jūmín , diving through its resistance, eating through its strength, vanishing its power. Fire still licking over its body, tendrils writhing and attempting to latch on to anything to stop her from dragging away from its nest within the cavern. She felt another burst of power from her complete net, trapping The Volatile Dweller completely.
She sighed deeply, feeling the total weight of the spell as it wrapped around the creature. Now she had to get it away from the ley line. Exhaustion ran through her form; her feet dragged under her as she backed up through the mine tracks. Rayne rushed up to her. Her body lit up with fireballs dancing around her.

"Ming-Yue," her sister cried out in worry. She felt her twin’s arms around her, helping her walk backward. "You can do this; I'll help where I can."
She could only nod to her twin. Words seemed too difficult in her parched throat to attempt to reply. Her world narrowed to dragging the captured monster out of this cavern. She kept walking, dragging, moving, anything to get herself out of this cave system. Her only thoughts were to move her and the creature out away from the ley line with Bù Wěndìng de Jūmín . The words of the portal pulsing through her. With Rayne's help, she made the long path out of the cave system. Time no longer meant anything to her. Words from the circle members flowed around her; she would handle them after she handled returning Bù Wěndìng de Jūmín to its native plane of existence.
They arrived outside, Bù Wěndìng de Jūmín in tow. Ming-Yu Began the portal spell. The words were passed down from each of the ancestors. Her voice was raw and shaky, but it didn't matter when the words came out. After several moments, the portal began to open. The white-gold shimmering seam opened again. The effort from Ming-Yue was challenging this time. The portal spell finished within a few moments, swirling with a standing pool of lights and pure magic. A place where all the monsters returned to, a place where they all returned to. She shoved it back into the realm it lived in with help from Rayne. Once it finished going through, she collapsed as darkness took her under.
