Worker found the family at supper when she came to their home at Wallingford.... The entire family and congregation had become very much attached to the baby who was a sweet child growing and developing normally.

The house was a large parsonage, neatly and comfortably furnished; and both the pastor and his wife said they were quite satisfied and content with their new home. They had moved from Jewell, Iowa, October 31, 1929. A large well-kept yard —almost a park —surrounded the house and would be an ideal place for the children to play.

The family expect to go to South Dakota about the middle of May to complete the adoption and to visit relatives at Moe south of Canton.

Worker spent the night in the home of Mr. and Mrs. G . . . who were members of Rev. Nordsletten’s congregation. These people praised their pastor and his family highly. They said the congregation were very much pleased with the change and hoped the family would remain among them a long time. They too, loved the baby and were almost tempted to adopt one also if they could find one as sweet and lovable.
