About the Author

Siblings Samaya and Taffin were raised in an unorthodox fashion. Born in the Netherlands, their early childhood was a relatively normal one. This changed when their hippie mother (their affectionate description of their single mom) was overcome by the wandering spirit. They hit the road. After spending the majority of their teenage lives on the roads of Europe with their family and a variety of old friends, (devouring books along the way) they all settled down in a rural area of Spain to build a home from scratch some odd 20 years ago.

Having been home-schooled, an interest in reading and writing developed early on. Especially for Samaya who started writing her first novel at the age of twelve. In the years that followed, this passion for writing remained a constant as she wrote down the many stories that always kept tumbling through her mind. At the same time, Taffin immersed himself in his love for horse riding/training, astrophysics, and quantum mechanics. Their main shared interest throughout that time was an abiding love for books ranging from romance to thriller/horror, and sci-fi to fantasy that had them up many a night with intense, very lively discussions about the latest books they had read.

They shared a love for strong, character driven stories with one recurring element they both needed in all their reading—romance. Though Samaya can get side-tracked by horror from time to time, and Taffin can get lost in fantasy, they always return to the genre that never fails to draw them into any plot—romantic fiction.

Then, in 2008 they started working together, first on Samaya’s earlier manuscripts, but other, newer stories, too, to see if they could etch out a career in this fascinating world of publishing. It wasn’t easy, many a fierce discussion followed as they argued grammar, plot, and even something as simple as comma placement (doesn’t everyone?). This was the beginning, and now they are going at it with a variety of projects in a multitude of genres that all have one thing in common—romance.
