HOW TO MAKE APPLE SLAB PIE
1. Use water to “glue” together 2 store-bought pie crusts.
2. Add flavor to the bottom crust by rolling it out in mixture of crushed cookie crumbs and sugar.
3. After transferring bottom crust to baking dish, brush it with melted butter for extra richness.
4. Top filled pie with second “double” crust and use fork to tightly seal edges of crust.
