A walk on the lighter side, these wings have all of the flavor of the classic fried wings but less fat. Try them dipped in blue cheese or ranch dressing or simply tossed with additional Frank’s® RedHot® Hot Buffalo Wings Sauce.
Makes 4 servings
24 chicken wings, separated into flats and drums
1 cup Frank’s® RedHot® Hot Buffalo Wings Sauce
1/2 teaspoon ground cayenne pepper
freshly ground black pepper to taste
1 tablespoon canola oil plus oil to grease the pan
1 Place the wings in a zip-top bag. Set aside.
2 In a small bowl, whisk together Frank’s® RedHot® Hot Buffalo Wings Sauce and the spices. Pour into the bag over the wings. Refrigerate for 30 minutes.
3 Preheat the oven to 400°F. Line a baking sheet with foil. Lightly oil the foil.
4 Drain the wings in a colander and toss them in a large bowl with 1 tablespoon oil. Arrange in a single layer on the baking sheet and bake for 40 minutes or until fully cooked and crispy. Serve immediately.
