Follow as he navigates clues and red herrings, learning at every turn that if his eyes and ears are to be believed, the stakes linked to this case are rising at an alarming rate. Sangster tries to do the right thing even as his uncertainty rises; all the while a seemingly well-ordered and rational world is slowly revealed to perhaps be older, darker, and more chaotic than he ever imagined…

Jehovah’s Wind

Unwillingly thrown into the search for a missing teenager, Sangster must try to thwart an obsessive man from exploiting captured Nazi technology and even his own son to achieve a twisted ambition…

It is summer 1970, and Jack Sangster has been sent to investigate the disappearance of a local boy at a remote Dartmoor hotel.

Already suspicious that the government is taking a far greater interest than the case merits, Sangster senses that not everything is what it seems in this wild and illusory part of England, a feeling compounded when he comes under intense scrutiny from his boss as well as the highest authorities.

And as the case unfolds, despite emotional distractions and frequent wrong turns, Sangster eventually comes to believe that shocking events, which at first seem potentially epoch-shifting, may just as likely ensue from the tragic imaginings of a man driven to madness by grief and disease.

Nevertheless, with more than one life at stake, and a connection to his own wartime past making Sangster wonder if the unbelievable really is taking place before his very eyes, it becomes a desperate race against time to do the right thing in the face of a discovery that could literally ‘change everything’.
