Traditional Masala Chai
Ingredients
• 1 cup water
• 11/2 teaspoons sugar
• 1 whole green cardamom pod
• 1 whole clove
• 2 black peppercorns
• 3 teaspoons black tea leaves
• 1/2 cup warm milk
Directions
• Combine water and sugar in a small pan and bring to a boil.
• Add the spices and tea leaves. Remove from heat.
• Let the tea steep for 3 minutes, then strain into a cup.
• Fill the rest of the cup with milk.
