Benefits: Iced teas provide the benefits of hot tea, but can be used in place of many high-calorie commercial soft drinks. In this recipe you can use either fresh or dried nettle, but the protein content in the dried leaves is higher than fresh, and you can’t get fresh leaves all year round. Nettle is also full of vitamins, minerals, and amino acids. It acts as a tonic for female problems. Mint offers calming effects on the stomach and can help relieve depression.
