Lavender-Lemon Tonic


Ingredients

• 4 cups water

• 1/4 cup fresh crushed lavender flowers

• 3/4 cup fresh lemon juice, or to taste

• 3/4 cup honey, or to taste

Directions

• Bring 2 cups of water to a boil, remove from heat, and stir in honey.

• Add lavender, cover, and steep for 20 minutes or a half hour.

• Strain the beverage, pour into a pitcher, and stir in the lemon juice.

• Add final 2 cups of water, stir, and place in refrigerator to chill.
