You will need all the materials mentioned in Chapter 1. Do make sure that you are using sashiko needles and threads for this stitching. You will also require the below equipment:
- Scissors
- Fabric chalk for markings. PRO TIP: If you do not have fabric chalk, you can also make use of dry soap (wet soap is, of course, slippery and does not make for a fun sewing experience).
- Ruler
- The right fabric (discussed below)
