You will need all the materials mentioned in Chapter 1. For the boro method, it would be ideal to use the sashiko needle. You should also use sashiko thread to work with boro stitches. As always, I recommend using high-quality needles that are not bent or worn out. Apart from the materials mentioned in Chapter 1, do note the materials below:
