Better is the end of a thing than the beginning of it, and the patient in spirit is better than the proud in spirit.
ECCLESIASTES 7:8
The most important thing is not necessarily how we start something. The beginning is important, but so is the middle, and so is the end. In fact, seeing something through is more important than just starting it, especially when it’s something God has called us to do.
Some people get started with a bang, but they never finish. Others are slow starters, but they finish strong. Regardless of how we start, God wants us to stay faithful every step of the way—beginning, middle, and end. God’s desire is for you to finish well.
God has a good plan for each of us. But it is a possibility, not a “positively.” It won’t “positively” happen if we don’t cooperate with God. We have a part to play in seeing the plan come true. God won’t do anything in our lives without our cooperation.
I challenge you to cooperate with God every single day of your life to develop your potential and see His plan come to pass. Every day you can learn something new. Every day you can grow. Every day you can be a bit further along than you were the day before. This is how you turn a great start into an even better finish.
Cooperate with God to develop your gifts, talents, and capabilities to their fullest extent. Be all you can be for the glory of God!
