FOR GETTING A GOOD NIGHT’S SLEEP
DO stay away from caffeine in the hours before you go to bed. You probably already know that certain types of soda contain caffeine, but did you know that chocolate does too?
DO avoid stimulating activities. For some boys this might mean not watching action or horror movies, reading exciting books, or playing “just until I reach the next level” of a video game, at least not right before bed. All these things are fun, but they aren’t really relaxing.
DO avoid arguments or other things that might upset you emotionally right before you go to bed.
DO pack your bag and lay out your clothes for the next day. If you think you might forget something (like materials you need for a special project) write yourself a reminder note.
