Ingredients (18 servings)
18 frozen vol au vents
1 egg, beaten
5 ounces cream cheese
Juice of 1/2 lemon
5 ounces petit pois, defrosted
5 ounces smoked salmon, flaked
1 tablespoon chives, finely chopped
Preparation
Brush all the vol au vents with the egg and then cook the vol au vent according to pack instructions. Combine the lemon juice, black pepper, cream cheese, and peas in a blender then blend until smooth. Fill the vents pastry cases with the cream cheese filling. Top them with salmon and garnish with the chives. Serve.
