This dress is a play on the traditional fisherman’s gansey, with a panel of textured diamonds and vertical stitch detail on the front. The back has a centre stitch detail running up from a vent in the K2, P2 rib. The bands of garter stitch, the ribs at the top of the sleeves and funnel neck reflect the characteristics of this much-loved style. The long rib cuffs have been given the modern twist of a functional thumbhole.
