Sweet Potato Casserole

This is a welcome side dish at almost any holiday buffet.

Serves 8

Ingredients:

  1. Treat the slow cooker with nonstick spray.
  2. Drain the sweet potatoes, add to a bowl, and mash them together with ⅓ cup of the butter, the white sugar, and 2 tablespoons of the brown sugar. Stir in the orange juice, eggs, and milk. Transfer the sweet potato mixture to the slow cooker.
  3. Add the pecans, ⅓ cup of the brown sugar, the flour, and the remaining 2 tablespoons of butter to a bowl; use a fork to blend. Sprinkle over the sweet potatoes. Cover and cook on low for 6 hours.
