Not Your Grandma’s Chocolate Cake
Serve this pudding cake warm with ice cream.

Serves 8
Ingredients:
- 1 (21-ounce) package brownie mix
- 2 cups water
- 2 large eggs
- ¼ cup butter, melted
- ½ cup semisweet chocolate chips
- Nonstick spray
- 1 cup sugar
- ¼ cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- Add the brownie mix, ½ cup of the water, the eggs, and the melted butter to a bowl; stir to mix. Fold in the chocolate chips.
- Treat the slow cooker with nonstick spray. Scrape the brownie mix batter into the slow cooker and spread evenly into the crock.
- Add sugar and cocoa to a small bowl; stir to mix well. Add the remaining water to a saucepan over medium heat. Stir in the sugar-cocoa mixture. Bring to a boil and then pour over the brownie batter in the slow cooker. Cover and cook on high for 2 to 2 ½ hours.
Not Your Grandma’s Banana Split
Serve the warm chocolate pudding cake over a banana sliced in half lengthwise. Add a scoop of strawberry ice cream; sweetened crushed pineapple; toasted, chopped peanuts, walnuts, cashews, pistachios, or pecans; and whipped cream. Top with a maraschino cherry.
