Born in 1847, Thomas Edison remains to this day one of the most prolific inventors in history with an impressive 1093 patents to his name in the United States alone. Some of his biggest breakthroughs included the invention of the phonograph, the development of the first practical incandescent light bulb, and the design of the Kinetograph, an early motion picture camera. It is therefore no surprise to learn that Edison relied on to-do lists that could make the busiest of us feel comparatively slothful.
