Kurt Cobain was 24 years old and on the verge of mainstream stardom when he wrote this – a list of things needed in order to produce a music video for ‘Smells Like Teen Spirit’, the lead single from his band’s second album Nevermind. Little did he or his bandmates know, but the single, video and album would all go on to become award-winning and iconic. His band, Nirvana, became one of the most influential of its generation.
