Date Unknown

Satchel Paige was one of the most accomplished and recognised pitchers in Negro League baseball, playing professionally from 20 years of age; he then debuted in the major leagues 22 years later, becoming the oldest person ever to do so. His crowning glory came in 1971, when he was inducted into the Baseball Hall of Fame.
