Author Note

Writing gives me immense pleasure. I love writing stories about relationships, and romance fascinates me—the meeting, the getting to know each other, the first kiss.

The books I have written range in setting from the medieval times to the 1930s. The majority of my novels occur in Regency England, which is the setting for A Vow for an Heiress.

Rosa Ingram is newly arrived from her island home in the Caribbean. She is determined to marry the gentleman her grandmother has singled out for her sister: William Barrington, the Earl of Ashurst, who has distinguished himself as a soldier in the East India Company. He has recently arrived from India to take up his inheritance. But the Ashurst estate is almost bankrupt—hence his need for a rich wife.

Unfortunately, nothing goes to plan. The romance between Rosa and William is played out from the peace of the Berkshire countryside to the fashionable salons and the meanest streets of London—a romance between two people destined for each other.
