Combined Ideation - Ideation Exercise #2
The combined ideation
is based on gut instincts. While gut decisions may not be fully understood, they are indispensable. With your gut you need to select three solutions that seem to go together. You then need to infer a reasonable way that all three solutions can work in tandem to produce an altogether new idea. Once you combine these three solutions into a new idea that is workable, you will most likely have a potential innovation. The more you work throughout this process, the better you will get at it. Eventually, you reach the point when you can come up with an innovation to most any problem provided that you take the time to work through the ideation process.
