Implementation
It cannot be stressed enough that innovation is not an innovation until it is implemented, otherwise, it is just an idea. Your innovation presentation must have the ability to be verified. Or it must involve demonstrations or evidence of implementation. In other words, if the class cannot use the innovation, you must bring documentation that someone else did.
Class Demo
The Class Demo
is your first innovation presentation of your Active Innovation to the class. Although it is assumed you still have work to do, do not
present an idea. Be sure you are presenting an innovation that can incorporate honest critique. Your demo must be a workable innovation even though change is coming.
Iterative design is the concept that a product does not come out complete. You will present an alpha-model innovation
to the class knowing that in the next iteration the beta-model innovation
will be changed for the better. It takes serval iterations to get the product or service just right. This is your first opportunity to find out how to improve on your innovation from peers. This new information will show you what kind of pivot you will need in order to move forward.
Prepare an interactive presentation to demonstrate your innovation’s implementation.
You will present in the following format for your class presentation:
3 – 5-minute live presentation with visual props
•
Include information gathered from your input sources, and your pivot or scale activity.
