Classic Raisin Oatmeal Cookies

3/4 c. butter or margarine, softened

1 c. brown sugar, packed

1/2 c. sugar

1/4 c. milk

1 egg

1 t. vanilla extract

1 c. all-purpose flour

1 t. cinnamon

1/2 t. baking soda

1/4 t. salt

3 c. long-cooking oats, uncooked

1 c. chopped walnuts

1 c. Sun-Maid Natural Raisins

Combine butter, brown sugar, sugar, milk, egg and vanilla; beat until light and fluffy. Whisk together flour, cinnamon, baking soda and salt. Add to butter mixture; stir well. Add oats, walnuts and raisins. Drop by teaspoonfuls onto greased baking sheets. Bake in upper third of oven at 350 degrees for 12 to 15 minutes. Makes 3 dozen cookies.

You may talk about your vases, just how beautiful they are, but to me there’s nothing nicer, than a well-filled cookie jar.
