Our heroine trudged down the grand staircase, dragged her feet across the entrance hall and flopped onto the sofa.

‘Can Her Majesty expel a school captain?’ asked Eduardo.

‘She’s the Queen!’ squeaked Wordsworth. ‘She can do whatever she likes.’
