Michelle Roehm McCann has worked as an editor and art director of children’s books for the past twenty-five years, as well as written and compiled award-winning children’s books of her own, including Girls Who Rocked the World, Finding Fairies, and Luba: The Angel of Bergen-Belsen. She received her MFA in Writing for Children from Vermont College and taught children’s book publishing at Portland State University for thirteen years. When she’s not reading, writing, or editing, Michelle loves to snowboard and whitewater raft with her family. She lives in Portland, Oregon, with her husband, two kids, and three cats.
