Por isso, a lista abaixo, necessariamente muito seletiva, limita-se a obras que considerei interessantes e úteis para escrever este livro. Ela compreende apenas umas poucas monografias e ensaios de pesquisa especializada, publicados em periódicos acadêmicos, embora sejam os elementos essenciais com que se constrói todo o saber histórico.
