And Kenan was seventy years old when he fathered Mahalalel; and he lived another eight hundred and forty years, and he fathered sons and daughters; and Kenan died when he was nine hundred and ten years old. And Mahalalel was sixty-five years old when he fathered Jared; and he lived another eight hundred and thirty years, and he fathered sons and daughters; and Mahalalel died when he was eight hundred and ninety-five years old. And Jared was a hundred and sixty-two years old when he fathered Enoch; and he lived another eight hundred years, and he fathered sons and daughters; and Jared died when he was nine hundred and sixty-two years old. And Enoch was sixty-five years old when he fathered Methuselah. And Enoch walked with God. And he lived another three hundred years, and he fathered sons and daughters; and Enoch lived three hundred and sixty-five years. And Enoch walked with God, then he vanished, for God took him. And Methuselah was a hundred and eighty-seven years old when he fathered Lamech; and he lived another seven hundred and eighty-two years, and he fathered sons and daughters; and Methuselah died when he was nine hundred and sixty-nine years old. And Lamech was a hundred and eighty-two years old when he fathered Noah; and he lived another five hundred and ninety-five years, and he fathered sons and daughters; and Lamech died when he was seven hundred and seventy-seven years old. And Noah was five hundred years old when he fathered Shem, Ham, and Japheth.
