Then they set out from Beth-El; and when they were still some distance from Ephrath, Rachel went into labor, and she was in great pain. And when her pain was at its greatest, the midwife said to her, “Don’t be afraid: you have another son.” And as she breathed her last, she named the child Ben-oni, Son of My Misfortune. But his father called him Benjamin, Son of the Right Hand.
So Rachel died and was buried beside the road to Ephrath. And Jacob set up a stone over her grave, the same stone that is on Rachel’s grave to this day.
