THE CENTRE OF BEING

Our sense of well-being comes primarily from the level of comfort we feel within our own skins, from having a clear and peaceful mind and from being able to perform everyday actions effectively. Central to well-being is freedom from anxiety, pain and fatigue. All three of these dimensions are the focus of a separate mandala meditation within this chapter. The chapter begins with a chakra mandala meditation based on the solar plexus, traditionally regarded as the core of the self.
