Even after you have established your relationship with the angels, you still need to remember to ask for help at the time you need it. The angels respect your free will. On rare occasions, they will intercede without your speaking up. But most often, they politely wait to be called.
Michael (the mechanic) says that he sometimes struggles over a problem for a long time before he finally remembers to call for help. It often happens when he is trying to screw in a bolt in a place he can’t see. “I can spend fifteen minutes trying and then I’ll say, ‘Angels, please help me do this,’ and boom! the thing starts,” he says.
